Half Moon Modern Baby Quilt

I finished my baby quilt.  I think I am going to put it on my etsy site when I get around to it!  I love it and the bright colors.  It is so soft and fluffy.  It would make a great baby gift.  I quilted it with my walking foot making 2 inch diagonals from corner to corner.  I had never quilted this way before.  I liked the way it turned out so much that I quilted my son's Star Wars quilt the same way. I am still working on the binding for that one!

The blocks are made from a nine patch that I cut on the diagonal creating 4 triangles.  Then I mixed up all the triangles and put them back together to create a new block!  Fun!  Easy!  It looks like a block that should have taken hours instead of minutes!  Here is the link for more info on putting it together.  (Go to the bottom of the page)

I just listed this baby quilt at my etsy store if you are interested!  Please pass along if you know someone who might be too.
